A Dragon for Me and for You is an illustrated children’s book following the narrative of a young girl meeting her dragon, discovering the importance of dragons, and becoming a dragon herself. The dragons in the narrative represent positive influences in young children’s lives, which come in all shapes and sizes with their own interests and talents to share. The narrative is geared toward five to eight-year-old children of any gender, race, or ethnicity.
This project was constructed for the senior project showcase, The Collective, at ORU. A Dragon for Me and for You showcase included two physical prints of the book, stickers, bookmarks, mini motivational prints, a portfolio detailing the creation process and inspiration of the narrative, and printed spreads from the book.
The official The Collective online senior showcase is still available for viewing.
