My name is Rachel Thompson! I’m a Graphic Designer from Missouri who enjoys illustration and design. I use art for both my career and personal projects. I dedicate time to creating stickers and graphics to share with my loved ones and express myself while also exploring new skills and concepts to better my professional work.
I am a BFA Graphic Design Undergraduate from Oral Roberts University. I studied programs from the Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and After Effects. We developed skills in animation, layout and packaging, digital and printed graphics, and team building. While studying design courses, I also pursued courses in photography and fine arts such as watercolor, illustration, and crafts.
I have worked as a graphic designer for a couple non-profits: Childhood Cancer Society and ThriVe. At these organizations, I used my skills to assist in developing their brands through posters, social media graphics, animations, illustrations, apparel prints, and additional marketing material. While with CCS, I assisted in building a team of designers to develop the social brand for Adventure Ted. While with ThriVe, I worked with both social media and marketing, strengthening not only our brand but also creating media and designs that expanded our reach to multiple states and connect to our partners.
